Handguns are used for hunting, personal protection and sport.  Single shot, revolvers or semi-automatic the one thing in common is the requirement to practice to remain proficient.  Fortunately, practice can be lots of fun!

We support NRA Certification through which you can get patches for your progress.

Action Pistol Action Pistol Matches are held on the first and third Saturday each month, beginning at 1:00 PM.

Targets are a combination of plates, poppers, and bowling pins.  Competitors shoot the targets as quickly as possible and the times are added up.   An extra magazine is suggested, just in case a reload might be necessary.

The course may be shot with .22 or center-fire pistols, either revolver or semi-automatic.  The Club owns several handguns that may be used by participants if they desire.
